AWP Skins: Every Finish on Steam, Sorted Into Five Price Bands

Sukie, Founder & Market Tracker at CS2 Skin Prices

Sukie · Founder & Market Tracker

Sukie built and maintains the price feed behind CS2 Skin Prices, which has recorded the lowest live listing for a fixed list of skins, cases and knives every three days since 31 July 2026, and she tests marketplaces with her own inventory. She writes and updates every guide on CS2 Skin Prices herself.

AWP skins come in 52 finishes, and 48 of them could be bought on the Steam Community Market on 29 October 2026. The cheapest was a Field-Tested Safari Mesh at $0.18; the most expensive Steam listing was a Field-Tested Desert Hydra at $1,349.00. Four finishes, Dragon Lore, Medusa, Gungnir and The Prince, had no Steam listing at all and trade only on third-party markets, where my feed had a Battle-Scarred Dragon Lore at $4,204 on 1 November 2026.

Those two numbers are a 7,494-fold spread on one rifle, which is why a list of "best AWP skins" without prices is not much help. This page sorts every AWP finish that was for sale into five price bands, under $1, $1 to $10, $10 to $100, $100 to $1,000 and $1,000 and up, and names the finish I would buy in each band, with the measured price that makes the case.

Everything below comes from one dated read of Steam's own market that I took on the morning of 29 October 2026, plus the Counter-Strike Wiki for the finish count. The three AWPs I track continuously have their own pages: the AWP Dragon Lore, the AWP Asiimov and the Souvenir Dragon Lore.

Bar chart of how many of the 48 AWP finishes listed on the Steam Community Market on 29 October 2026 start in each price band: 4 under $1, 15 from $1 to $10, 21 from $10 to $100, 7 from $100 to $1,000 and 1 above $1,000
Most AWP finishes start between $10 and $100, but most AWP listings sit under $10: the four sub-$1 finishes alone had 28,230 listings.Chart: original data visualisation by cs2skinprices.com. Data: Steam Community Market search for "AWP", lowest non-StatTrak listing per finish, read 29 October 2026 06:47-06:55 UTC.

How many AWP finishes are there, and how many does Steam sell?

The count depends on where you look, so here is the reconciliation rather than a single number pulled from a listicle.

The Counter-Strike Wiki keeps a table of every skin by collection, the Skins/List page. Read through its api.php endpoint on 29 October 2026, it has 42 AWP rows. That page was last edited on 24 March 2025, so it predates the newer collections. The wiki's AWP gallery page is more recent (last edited 4 October 2026) but lists only 38 finishes, plus the Doodle Lore, which the gallery records as removed in the 15 February 2023 update.

Steam's market is the other side. Searching "AWP" on the Steam Community Market returned 496 item names that morning. After dropping 117 StatTrak names, 137 Souvenir names and 31 stickers, charms and graffiti that merely contain the word, 211 regular AWP items were left. Those 211 items are 48 distinct finishes, each in the wear tiers that happened to have a listing.

Put the two side by side and the gaps explain each other:

  • 10 finishes are on Steam but not in the wiki table: Arsenic Spill, Black Box, Exothermic, Green Energy, Ice Coaled, LongDog, Printstream, Queen's Gambit, Sovereign Flame and The End. They exist, they have hundreds or thousands of listings, and the wiki table simply has not caught up.
  • 4 finishes are in the wiki table but had no Steam listing: Dragon Lore, Medusa, Gungnir and The Prince. I checked a Field-Tested example of each on Steam's price endpoint as well; all four came back with no price at all.

42 plus 10 makes 52 AWP finishes in total, of which 48 were buyable on Steam that day. I use 52 as the count of finishes and 48 as the count I could price. The Doodle Lore is not in either number, because it was removed from the game.

Every price on this page is the cheapest Steam listing on one morning

A price band is only as honest as the read behind it, so this is exactly what I measured. Between 06:47 and 06:55 UTC on 29 October 2026 I paged through all 50 result pages of Steam's market search for "AWP" (appid 730, ten results per page, one request every three seconds or so). Steam rate-limited one page; I waited and fetched it again, and the final set matched Steam's own total of 496 names.

For each of the 48 finishes I recorded the lowest asking price across every wear tier with at least one listing, which wear tier that listing was in, and the total number of listings across all wears. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are left out of the bands, because they are separate items with their own prices. That gives one "entry price" per finish: the least you could have paid that morning to own it in any condition.

Three caveats matter when you read the tables:

  • The entry price is often a worn copy. Of the 48 entry prices, 30 were Battle-Scarred or Well-Worn. A Factory New copy of the same finish can cost many times more, so the per-band sections show the wear spread for the finishes where it changes the decision. The CS2 float chart explains what each wear tier looks like.
  • "No listing" means none that morning. When a finish shows no listing in a tier, Steam had nothing for sale in it at that moment. I am not claiming the tier cannot exist.
  • These are Steam prices, not my feed's prices. My continuous feed records the lowest listing across third-party marketplaces, which excludes Steam. On 1 November 2026 the feed had a Battle-Scarred Asiimov at $68.06, while Steam's cheapest a day later was $87.40. That gap is normal, and it is why I never mix the two sources in one table. Where to buy covers the trade-off.

Four AWP finishes cost under $1, and they hold 41% of all AWP listings

The bottom band is small in finishes and enormous in supply. Four finishes started below a dollar, and between them they had 28,230 listings, 41% of the 69,366 regular AWP listings on Steam that morning.

CapillaryMil-Spec$0.85Battle-Scarred4,948
Arsenic SpillMil-Spec$0.41Field-Tested5,680
Safari MeshIndustrial$0.18Field-Tested12,844

Safari Mesh is the floor of the whole rifle at $0.18, and it is the only Industrial Grade AWP in this band. It is also the one place where wear changes everything: a Factory New Safari Mesh started at $6.27, 35 times its Field-Tested price, with only 139 Factory New listings against 4,867 in Field-Tested.

Arsenic Spill is the opposite case and the best value in the band. Its five wear tiers were all listed, and the Factory New copy started at $0.85, while the Field-Tested started at $0.41. For less than a dollar you get the clean version of the skin. Acheron and Capillary both started at $0.85 or more in Battle-Scarred, and their Factory New copies started at $8.94 and $6.29.

The $1 to $10 band has 15 finishes, and several are Factory New for under $11

This is the busiest band by number of listings: 15 finishes and 31,381 listings. It mixes Restricted and Classified finishes, which shows that rarity alone does not set an AWP's price. Mortis, Green Energy, Duality and Ice Coaled are Classified and still started under $5.

Pit Viper, at $1.07, is the only finish here with no Factory New listing that morning; its cheapest condition was Field-Tested with 2,888 listings. The Atheris is one of the three AWPs in my continuous feed, which had a Field-Tested copy at $3.63 on 1 November 2026, against $5.17 on Steam.

What makes this band worth a careful look is how cheap the top wear can be:

FinishFactory NewMinimal WearField-TestedWell-WornBattle-Scarred

Lowest Steam listing per wear tier on 29 October 2026, listings in brackets.

A Factory New Worm God started at $4.46, only $1.66 more than the cheapest Field-Tested one, and it had 944 Factory New listings. Duality and Mortis both had Factory New copies around $10, about three times their Field-Tested prices. If you are going to own a $3 AWP for a long time, paying a few dollars more for the clean version is the easiest upgrade on the rifle.

Where do most AWP skins start on price?

Twenty-one of the 48 finishes started in this band, more than any other, and it is where most of the well-known Covert AWPs sit once you accept a worn copy. Listings thin out sharply: 9,186 across 21 finishes, about a third of the under-$1 band's supply.

Two rows surprise people. Snake Camo is a Mil-Spec finish, the second-lowest grade on this rifle, yet its cheapest copy was $91.85, with just 50 listings across all wears. Pink DDPAT, a Restricted finish, started at $24.99 with 93 listings. Low supply, not grade, is what lifts them.

The other pattern is that the entry price here is usually a worn copy, and the Factory New price can be in a different band altogether:

FinishFactory NewMinimal WearField-TestedWell-WornBattle-Scarred

Lowest Steam listing per wear tier on 29 October 2026, listings in brackets.

The Neo-Noir is the outlier worth knowing: its Factory New copy started at $52.99, only $9.59 above its cheapest Well-Worn, with 229 Factory New listings. The Printstream is the reverse: $50.60 Well-Worn, $170.68 Factory New. The Asiimov had no Factory New or Minimal Wear listing at all, which matches what my AWP Asiimov page found in its own checks. My feed's Field-Tested Wildfire was $36.23 on 1 November 2026; Steam's cheapest was $50.57.

Seven finishes start between $100 and $1,000, and most list in only two wear tiers

The band count drops to seven finishes and the listing count to 564. Most of these are Covert, but Silk Tiger, Graphite and BOOM are Classified.

Several finishes in this band only had listings in one or two wear tiers that morning: Fade only in Factory New, Lightning Strike and Graphite only in Factory New and Minimal Wear, Man-o'-war only in Minimal Wear and Field-Tested. That narrows the choice. If you want a Fade AWP on Steam, you are buying a Factory New copy at $813.85 or more, from 21 listings.

Lowest Steam listing per wear tier on 29 October 2026, listings in brackets.

Silk Tiger had one of the thinnest markets in the band, 23 listings across five tiers, with a Factory New copy at $833.17 against $195.38 for Battle-Scarred. With that few listings, one sale moves the floor, so treat its prices as the least reliable in this table. Graphite is the opposite: 110 Factory New listings starting at $155.82, the deepest Factory New supply in the band.

Which AWP finish does Steam sell above $1,000?

Only the Desert Hydra had a Steam listing over $1,000 on 29 October 2026, and only five copies were for sale: four Field-Tested from $1,349.00 and one Well-Worn at $1,535.75. Steam had no Factory New, Minimal Wear or Battle-Scarred Desert Hydra listed.

The four most famous AWPs are not on that list at all. Dragon Lore, Medusa, Gungnir and The Prince had no Steam listing, and Steam's price endpoint returned no price for them. They change hands on third-party marketplaces instead. The Dragon Lore is the only one of the four in my continuous feed:

AWP Dragon Lore wearLowest third-party listing, 1 November 2026
Factory New$9,799
Minimal Wear$8,171
Field-Tested$5,927
Well-Worn$5,482
Battle-Scarred$4,204
Souvenir, Field-Tested$5,901

The Dragon Lore price page tracks each wear over time, and the Souvenir Dragon Lore page covers the tournament version. I do not track Medusa, Gungnir or The Prince, so I give no price for them here rather than guess.

The best AWP skin for each budget is the one with the cleanest copy at that price

"Best" is a matter of taste, so my picks follow one rule I can defend with the numbers: within each budget, buy the finish that gets you the best wear tier for the money, from a finish with enough listings that the price is real. Every price below is the lowest Steam listing on 29 October 2026.

  • Under $1: Arsenic Spill, Factory New, $0.85. It is the only AWP you can own in Factory New for under a dollar, and 742 Factory New copies were listed. The Safari Mesh is cheaper at $0.18, but only in Field-Tested.
  • Under $5: Worm God, Factory New, $4.46. The smallest gap between Field-Tested and Factory New of any finish I measured in the $1 to $10 band, with 944 Factory New listings.
  • Around $10: Duality or Mortis, Factory New, $10.12 and $10.77. Both are Classified, both had hundreds of Factory New listings (418 and 394), and each costs about three times its Field-Tested price, a premium worth paying at this level.
  • Around $20: Fever Dream, Factory New, $19.73. 274 Factory New listings, and the whole wear range sat between $13.65 and $19.73, so you are not paying much for the top tier.
  • Around $50: Neo-Noir, Factory New, $52.99. A Covert AWP in Factory New for about $50, with 229 listings. The Printstream and Wildfire are similar money only in Well-Worn or Field-Tested.
  • Around $150: Graphite, Factory New, $155.82, or a Factory New Printstream from $170.68 if you prefer the Covert.
  • $500 to $850: Lightning Strike, Factory New, $583.14. It sits $230.71 below the Fade's cheapest copy and had 33 Factory New listings against the Fade's 21.
  • Over $1,000: on Steam, only the Field-Tested Desert Hydra from $1,349.00. Beyond that you are shopping for a Dragon Lore, Medusa, Gungnir or Prince off Steam, and the marketplace guide matters more than any pick.

Two things change these picks. If you play a lot, wear matters less than you think on a scoped rifle, and a worn Asiimov or Printstream saves real money. If you might sell later, prefer the finishes with deep listing counts, because a thin market (Silk Tiger, Snake Camo, Desert Hydra) is where you wait longest for a buyer. For the rest of the market beyond the AWP, start from the CS2 skin price checker home page.

Frequently asked questions

How many AWP skins are there in CS2?

52 finishes by my count on 29 October 2026: the 42 AWP rows in the Counter-Strike Wiki's Skins/List table plus 10 newer finishes that Steam lists but that table does not yet include. 48 of the 52 had a listing on the Steam Community Market that morning; Dragon Lore, Medusa, Gungnir and The Prince did not.

What is the cheapest AWP skin?

The Safari Mesh. A Field-Tested or Well-Worn copy had a lowest Steam listing of $0.18 on 29 October 2026, and it had more listings than any other AWP finish, 12,844 across all wears. The cheapest Factory New AWP was the Arsenic Spill at $0.85.

What is the most expensive AWP skin?

The Dragon Lore, which does not sell on Steam. My feed's lowest third-party listing for a Factory New copy was $9,799 on 1 November 2026. On Steam itself, the most expensive AWP listing on 29 October 2026 was a Field-Tested Desert Hydra at $1,349.00.

Is a Factory New AWP skin worth the extra money?

It depends on the finish, and the gap is not consistent. A Factory New Neo-Noir started only $9.59 above its cheapest copy, while a Factory New Safari Mesh cost 35 times its Field-Tested price on 29 October 2026. Check the wear table for your finish before deciding.

Why are some AWP skins missing from the Steam Market?

On 29 October 2026 Steam had no listing for the Dragon Lore, Medusa, Gungnir or The Prince, and its price endpoint returned no price for them. They trade on third-party marketplaces. Some other finishes are missing only in certain wear tiers, such as the Asiimov, which had no Factory New or Minimal Wear listing.
