Every draft is then edited, fact-checked, and expanded by Sukie before publication — numbers verified against her own tracking spreadsheet, marketplace claims tested against her own inventory and transaction history, and anything that cannot be verified cut. Nothing is published as raw AI output. The judgment calls, the firsthand marketplace observations, and the “here is what I would actually do” conclusions are human.

Sourcing rules

Claims need sources, and sources need to be named. Our hierarchy looks like this:

• Official Valve and Steam documentation for anything about game mechanics, drop systems, trade rules, or the Steam Market itself.
• Named market reports and published datasets for market-wide claims about prices, volumes, or trends.
• Community sources — such as widely-corroborated Reddit threads — for community sentiment or event reconstructions, always cited and linked, never laundered into “experts say.”

Every guide carries outbound citations to the sources behind its specific claims. If you find a factual claim on this site with no source and no basis in our own tracked data, that is a mistake — tell us and we will fix it.

Price data policy

Prices displayed on this site come from marketplace APIs only — the official data feeds marketplaces publish for exactly this purpose. We refresh that data on a regular cadence and stamp price displays with a visible “as of” date so you can judge freshness yourself. We never scrape prices from marketplace web pages: scraped numbers drift out of date within days, fail silently, and breach most platforms’ terms of service.

One rule of interpretation matters more than the rest: live prices always override any figure written in prose. A guide might mention that a knife “trades around $180” — that number was accurate when the guide was written or last reviewed, but the market moves daily. Where a live price and a prose figure disagree, the live price wins, and the marketplace itself is the final authority before you transact.

Update policy

Guides are reviewed periodically and updated when the market, the game, or the facts change. When we update a page, its modified date changes to reflect the real revision — we do not bump dates to look fresh. If a page shows an updated date, something in it actually changed. Pages whose substance has not changed keep their original dates, because a date you cannot trust is worse than an old one.

Monetization disclosure

This site earns money one way: display advertising served through Google AdSense. That is the complete list. Specifically:

• No affiliate links. We earn nothing when you buy, sell, or trade a skin anywhere. No guide is steering you toward a marketplace that pays us, because none do.
• No paid placement. No marketplace, tool, or vendor pays to appear in — or be ranked favorably by — any guide or comparison.
• No gambling sponsorships. Skin-gambling and case-opening sites approach content sites in this niche constantly. We decline all of them, without exception.

Found something wrong? Email sukiesupportlove@gmail.com with the page URL and what you spotted. Price errors get priority over everything else in the inbox, because a wrong price can cost a reader real money. Verified errors are fixed promptly, and the page’s visible updated date changes so the correction is on the record. We would rather be corrected than be wrong — full contact details are on the contact page.
