About CS2 Skin Prices
CS2 Skin Prices exists to answer one question honestly: what is a Counter-Strike 2 skin actually worth right now, and why? The site pairs live marketplace prices with plain-English guides to floats, cases, knives, trading, and investing — written for players who want to understand the market, not gamble on it.
How this site started
The site began in November 2025 as a hobby project: a simple price tracker built so its founder could stop refreshing five marketplace tabs to check the same handful of skins. The tracker was never meant to be public, but friends kept asking for the link, and it turned out a lot of players wanted the same thing — one clean place to see what a skin costs, without pop-ups, case-opening banners, or referral bait.
In July 2026 the site was relaunched as a full skin-economy resource. The price tracker is still the core, but it now sits alongside a growing library of guides that explain the mechanics behind those prices: why a 0.01 float can double a skin’s value, why most cases lose money when opened, and how marketplace fees quietly eat into every sale. If the old site answered “what does it cost?”, the new one also answers “why?” and “should I?”.
Who is Sukie?
Sukie is the founder and market tracker behind everything published here — a real person, writing under her real name, with her real photo. She keeps the rest of her personal details offline because the CS2 trading scene can be an uncomfortable place to attach an address and an inventory to, but the same person writes and maintains every page on this site.
Sukie has been tracking the Counter-Strike skin economy since 2023, starting with a personal spreadsheet that has since grown to cover price history for more than 400 skins. She tests marketplaces the only way that produces honest answers: with her own inventory. When a guide here says a marketplace’s payout took four days to arrive or that a fee was higher than advertised, that observation came from a real listing, a real sale, and a real balance.
One thing Sukie is not: a financial professional. Nothing on this site is investment advice. She tracks a market she participates in and shares what the data shows — including when the data says “don’t buy this.”

Every guide lives inside one of six topic hubs, each built to take you from “never heard of this” to genuinely informed:

Alongside the hubs, the skin price browser lets you look up current prices across the skins we track — the direct descendant of that original November 2025 spreadsheet.
Where our prices come from
Every price on this site comes from official marketplace APIs — the same data feeds the marketplaces themselves publish. We refresh prices on a regular schedule and stamp every price display with an “as of” date, so you always know how fresh a number is. We never scrape prices from marketplace pages: scraped data goes stale fast, breaks silently, and violates most sites’ terms. If a live price and a number written in a guide ever disagree, trust the live price — it is newer.
What we will not do
The CS2 skin space is full of sites with incentives that work against their readers. Here is where we draw our lines:
- No gambling promotion. We do not promote, link to, or accept sponsorships from skin-gambling or case-opening sites. Ever.
- No affiliate pressure. This site carries no affiliate links. We earn nothing when you buy or sell a skin, so no guide here is quietly steering you toward a marketplace that pays us.
- No financial advice. We explain how the market works and what has happened historically. What you do with your money is your call, and skins can lose value.
